Who Are We?

Action for Child Development Organization (ACDO) is a national non-governmental, non-political and non-profit making organization founded in 2018 and registered by Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) with Registration No: 1484 to operate in south Sudan. Our aim is to serve and assist the underprivileged and the most vulnerable populations affected by both manmade and natural disasters in South Sudan. We response to emergency, recovery, resilience and development needs through our thematic areas of Child Protection, Education, Food security and livelihoods, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Health and Nutrition, Youth Empowerment and Live skills, Shelter/ NFI, Access to Justice, Peace building and Good Governance.

ACDO’s food security and livelihoods interventions focuses on the following: - Training communities on Good agricultural Practices (GAP) and livestock production. - Livestock vaccinations and treatment. - Commercialization of livestock for economic value.
